Site Information & Accommodations
The event will take place at Scoutcentrum Kruithuis in Delft, at Schiekade 2 2627 BL Delft
The site’s website is available at https://scoutcentrumdelft.nl/, with many photos and of the site.
The site has 7 dorm rooms with a total of 74 beds, as well as camping space. The site does not provide bedding, so you will need to bring a bottom/fitted sheet, a pillow and pillowcase, and a blanket/duvet (or sleeping bag- please note a fitted sheet is still required with a sleeping bag.)
We will not be able to offer loaner bedding or loaner feast gear, so if you need this please ask fellow attendees if they can assist with this.
As there are several beds in each dorm room, we strongly recommend bringing earplugs and an eye mask if you are worried about disturbance from noise or light.
Sleeping Accommodation can be viewed here: https://scoutcentrumdelft.nl/accommodatie-verhuur/
Please note the site has a lot of open water, so small children should be supervised closely.
Please note dogs (excluding guide/service dogs) or any other animals are not allowed on site. If you will bring a service dog please let us know as the site has asked to be notified of this in advance.
Off-Site Accommodations
Delft city centre is approximately 2 km from site and has many hotel options at a variety of price points.
Food & Beverage Shopping
Lidl is 1km/13 minutes’ walk from site, and Albert Heijn XL is 1.8km away. Beer and wine may be purchased at these, though you will need to go to Gall & Gall for spirits/liquors. Please note many stores in The Netherlands do not accept credit cards, so please ensure you have cash or your debit card has a Maestro or V Pay logo. Exceptions are stores in high tourist areas such as Schiphol and Amsterdam, so if you have flown in and are traveling to site by train, it is worth doing your shopping at Schiphol/in Amsterdam if you must pay by credit card.
Accessibility
The site is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible, with several parts of the building only accessible by stairs.
If you have accessibility questions please contact us at (EMAIL) and we will be happy to assist you as best we can.
